Modern Plastic Industry is part of Oasis Investment company, holding company of Al Shirawi Group of companies which is one of the largest and most diversified business conglomerates in the Arabian gulf.

MPI products are manufactured in Dubai Investment park in Dubai, using the state of the art, microprocessor controlled injection molding machines, high-quality precision molds and pipe extruders, in order to meet the requirements of harsh climatic conditions and the challenging needs of the of the Gulf region with due emphasis on quality, reliability and economy

Role & responsibilities

• Handles tools, materials, equipment and spares to and from various locations and levels within the site
• Assisting the fitters/welder/technicians/technicians/machinists and other skilled personnel as and when required
• Other responsibilities as and when entrusted by the foreman
• Cleaning of the machinery and other equipments required to perform the job
• Adherence to the company safety and environmental procedures
• Carries out physical lifting and transferring light equipment and materials Skills
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Complete the work allocated by the warehouse supervisor time to time
• Proper housekeeping of the Warehouse
• Receive material from supplier and assist in counting and keeping in assigned location
• Inform any discrepancy identified during receipt of materials
• Proper storage of material in their respective place
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

Preferred candidate profile

• ECNR passport holders
• High school or general education degree (GED)
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Machine Shop experience and Overhead crane experience will be added advantage
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures
• Basic knowledge of machine shop tools and hand tools

• Monthly Salary is AED1,100.00/-
• Accommodation :  Camp Accommodation
• Contract is renewable subject to satisfactory performance of the first agreement term of 24 months service with the salary increment.
• 2 months leave with salary at the end of 24 months service with flight ticket allowance.
