Store Keeper
Position Type: Full-Time
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in retail store operations, expertise in Goods Receipt Note (GRN) management, proficiency in 5S methodology, and hands-on experience with SAP software.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a storekeeper role within the retail industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GRN processes, 5S methodology, and SAP software.
- Skills: Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in MS Office and other inventory management tools.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional inventory management or retail operations certifications are a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
- Oversee the store's receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimised.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Processing:
- Prepare and manage GRNs for incoming goods.
- Ensure all items received are accurately documented and inspected for quality and quantity.
- Resolve any discrepancies between GRNs and actual shipments.
3. 5S Implementation:
- Apply 5S principles (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain an organized and efficient storage area.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to 5S practices.
- Implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
4. SAP Usage:
- Utilize SAP software for inventory management, order processing, and reporting.
- Generate and analyse reports to monitor stock levels, order statuses, and other key metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any SAP-related issues in collaboration with the IT department. 5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
- Prepare regular reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Assist with auditing and compliance requirements as needed.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the retail and procurement teams to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Provide support and training to junior staff members as needed.
- Address and resolve any issues related to inventory or store processes.
Dispatch Supervisor
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Night Dispatcher with extensive experience in dispatch operations and supply chain management, specifically within the retail industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling GRN (Goods Receipt Note), 5S methodology, and SAP systems to ensure the efficient coordination of logistics and dispatch activities during night operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all night dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery schedules.
- Oversee the preparation and processing of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Implement and maintain 5S standards to ensure a well-organized, efficient, and safe working environment.
- Utilize SAP systems for effective inventory management, order processing, and dispatch tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, particularly concerning safety and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure seamless handovers between shifts and continuity in operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the day shift team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the night shift team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dispatch operations, logistics, or supply chain management within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of GRN, 5S, and SAP systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a night shift role, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Experience in leading and supervising teams, with a focus on achieving operational goals.
Educational Requirements:
A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
