Service Implementation Technician - Copper Network
The job is dynamic and challenging, mainly performed in the field to provide service to the end user.
Construction and maintenance of the passive telecommunications network.
Connecting copper cables - lead/paper and plastic insulation.
Installing underground cables, pulling aerial cables, mounting junction boxes on poles, installing splices on underground cables, patching at distribution points, testing pairs, installing outlet cabinets, and making final terminations.
Creating household installations, installing conduits (PVC and metal), and pulling cables through them.
Measurements on copper cables - DC and broadband measurements.
Working in a team of two or more employees, fieldwork.
Location: Split.
Work experience in the telecommunications industry
Requirements:
Technical field education or background
Light vehicle driver's license (car)
Climber Technician
- Installation of Mobile Broadband active, passive, and infra equipment on poles/mounts.
- Preventive and corrective inspections (at height) of metal structures - poles/mounts.
- Corrective activities (replacement) of existing active, passive, and infra equipment on poles/mounts.
Difference from other active network technicians involves the following tasks: Performing work (installation, preventive, and corrective tasks) at height (poles/mounts).
Requirements:
- Technical field education or background
- Light vehicle driver's license (car)
Advantage:
Work experience in the telecommunications industry.
