Job Title:- Senior Database Administrator & Developer

Job Capsule: Responsible for the definition, management, and support of the database environments associated with the Production project implementation under the general supervision of the technical lead. Capable of implementing and maintaining project data models while managing the performance, integrity, and security of databases. This role also involves software development and optimization, utilizing 7+ years of experience in database management and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project data models.
• Manage databases, developing necessary queries and stored procedures.
• Establish user needs and monitor access and security.
• Assist with debugging and optimizing SQL queries.
• Perform ongoing database performance tuning and upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or MIS.
• Certifications in SQL, .NET, Oracle (desirable).
• 7+ years of experience in implementing and managing databases.
• Experience in the oil and gas domain is a plus.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency with SQL Server/Postgres.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and concepts.
• Proven experience in database optimization and security.
• Knowledge of data backup/recovery.
• Familiarity with Java/Python is desirable.
• Experience with big data and data science knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
