QA/QC Engineer for Serikandi Oilfield Services in Brunei Darussalam

Quality Management System Development:

• With the Quality Manager, develop and implement a project-specific quality management system aligned with industry standards, client requirements, and applicable codes and regulations. This includes defining quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Quality Planning:

• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to develop quality plans for each phase of the project. Identify critical quality control points and establish inspection and testing criteria.

Quality Control:

• Monitor and control the quality of work performed by contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Review and approve quality-related documents, such as procedures, drawings, and material certificates.

Non-Conformance Management:

• Identify and address non-conformities, deviations, and deficiencies in work processes, materials, or equipment. Investigate root causes, document findings, and propose corrective and preventive actions. Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

Quality Reporting:

• Prepare regular quality performance reports for project management and clients. Communicate quality-related issues, trends, and improvement opportunities. Provide recommendations for process enhancements and corrective actions.

Supplier and Subcontractor Evaluation:

• Assess the quality management systems of suppliers and subcontractors. As required participate in the prequalification and selection process to ensure that only qualified and reliable vendors are engaged. Conduct supplier audits and inspections as required.
• Participate in procurement activities including review of Engineering Requisitions, and Technical Bid Evaluations.
• Undertake and/or coordinate technical review of subcontractor data submissions typically including; quality plans, process, ITPs, WPS, WPQR and personnel qualifications and construction records and certification.
