SALES ENGINEERS

Knowledge in: CRM, negotiation, communication both written and verbal in English, Arabic is an advantage, familiar with API and ASME products, knowledge in upstream products and services

Technical Skills: Communication skills for developing relationship with upstream oil and gas sector, Kuwait Driving license is a must

Management skills: Material Planning, Production Supervision, cost controls, men management, customer management, communication skills

Technical Skills: Basic computer sill is must, working knowledge in ERP environment will be an added value, should have good QHSE drives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and implement the activities of Design Engineering, Cost Estimating and Drafting.
• Coordinate all technical activities relating to mechanical, structural and process design within the project scope.
• Oversee the preparation, accuracy and release of formal Cost Estimates to Sales Department during involvement in responses with respect to RFQ.
• Establish & ensure good design practices with a thrust towards to quality, productivity and optimization.
• Control the design engineering portion of job files, the release of jobs and engineering documentation to Project Engineering.
• Ensure change in design / drawings are communicated and updated with production and quality department in compliance with ISO 9000 procedures.
• Provide technical advice & council to all functions within the Division.
• Deliver an engineering work product that is accurate, complete, on time, and within budget.
• Constantly strive to achieve 100% accuracy of all products, documents &/or data produced within the Design Engineering Group.
• Achieve 100% customer satisfaction in all aspects of the Design Engineering & Cost Estimation functions.
• Perform all Engineering Activities in compliance to ISO 9000 and ASME Code.
• Appropriately recommend and plan human resources for accomplishing the Engineering function.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

This position demands excellent leadership ability and technical proficiency in the pressure vessel, structural steel and Oil and Gas Processing Industry. The position requires a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline, with a Masters Degree preferable. The individual must possess a minimum of 5 10 years in the management of pressure vessel engineering design. Knowledge of Heat Exchanger engineering and design will be an added advantage.
