Ensure that the infrastructure at the collection centers is geared to handle arrivals as per plan
Ensure the spread of buying activities across the Collection Centers
Devise and implement systems and processes to ensure that collection center infrastructure is configured to deliver the lowest cost per ton of buying
Continuously elevating the supply chain standards in commodity operations.
Zero outstanding at the end of the season.
Crop Development Program:
Ensure creating positive Farmer Cooperatives & Aggregators' equity.
Spreading the Crop Development Program platform to newer geographies with a strategic intent of contributing to Industrial Zone Industries supply chain efficiencies while benefiting the Farmer Cooperatives & Aggregators network.
Carry put various sustainability programs under this scheme.
Maximize the coverage in sowing and purchase for the Crop Development Program harvest.
People Development:
Design efficient and effective team structure for delivery of the expected business plan
Provide specialized training to Collection Centers resources in Procurement, Rural Distribution, Financial Services, and Infrastructure.
Pilots & New Initiatives:
Ensure effective roll-out of new initiatives through the network.
Gather feedback and provide inputs to fine-tune strategies
Monitor the operations and delivery of the initiatives and their spread in the Farmer Cooperatives & Aggregators network.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Masters or Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture, Business Administration, Agri Supply Chain Management, or Agriculture Economics.
Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) can add significant value.
Desirable Skills:
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the agri-commodity sector with more focus on raw cashew nuts, including market trends, commodity cycles, and supply chain dynamics specific to agriculture.
- Procurement Skills: Proficiency in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Negotiation Skills is desirable
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles related to procurement, such as cost analysis, budgeting, and economic forecasting.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members.
- Knowledge of the French language will be an added advantage
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and other challenges.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and understanding of regional and cultural differences within the region and how they impact procurement and supplier relationships
