Maintenance Head


Planning and execution of New projects at existing site and new locations.

• Cash flow preparation/ follow-up for new projects

• To develop a suitable system for uptime for the plant & machineries to 99%

• To Develop a Environment/OHSAS and Energy management system to meet system requirements

• Develop organizational capability to improve competitive position in the field of Environment, Occupational health and energy management system

• Identify the gap in the existing practice/procedure/system/recourse and plan for new to meet opportunities.

• Develop new relationship with all material/machine supplier to upgrade the performance • Terminate the old procedure/sytem/service which will have severe impact to the equipment • Integrating the maintenance, utility and project functions in same alignment to meet the overall objectives.

• Continuous improvement on machine, materials and methods to meet production challenges • Implement suitable system for safety of the people and equipments.

• Developing suitable system to maintain the ROL/ ROQ for the spares

• Compliance to Govt. regulations viz.,consent order renewal from State Pollution Control Board, Inspection from Electricity Board, Pressure vessels, Ventilation equipment testing by Competent Authorities, Obtaining the stability certificate for the Plant etc. Budgeting

• Plans and prepares the annual departmental budget by accounting for Manpower, Material, Machine, Methods for meeting department goals and objectives. S

• Cost management

• Controls cost through effective utilization of resources and institutionalizing operational efficiency (process improvement) in the department Management Reporting

• Establishes relevant reporting mechanisms to ensure requisite data is well captured, collated and analyzed for making necessary decisions department and management People Responsibilities

Molding Engineer


1. Manages the production plan to meet the daily production target

2. Review the daily production and initiate corrective action for failures due to sandplant and moulding

3. Review the daily delays and initiate corrective action

4. Review the availability of raw materials and adherence to sand additives to achieve correct sand properties

5. Analysis all the raw material and consumables consumption on daily/weekly/monthly basis and initiate action to reduce cost

6. Plan the preventive and predictive maintenance of the equipments to increase the OEE of the equipments.

7.Represents in the daily / weekly rejection meeting and take corrective actions related to melting for castings defects

8. Review the department objectives on daily/weekly/monthly basis for effectiveness and efficiency and initiate corrective action

9. Provide input to the subordinate to meet their internal customer requirements

10.Develop a system/procedure/process to achieve the departmental goals

11. Train the subordinates to reduce the rejections and delays

12. Monitor and review the incidents to achieve zero accidents

13. Monitor 1S & 2S activities to keep the shop floor clean

14. Coordinates with other department to improve overall efficiency

15. Review the process/product non-conformity and initiate actions for disposition and prevention

16. To implement suitable procedures to meet the Quality, Environment and Safety



Deputy Manager



Manages the production plan to meet the daily production target

2. Review the daily production and initiate corrective action for failures due to melting

3. Review the availability of raw materials and adherence to charge mix to achieve correct chemical properties

4. Analysis all the direct and indirect raw material / Energy consumption on daily/weekly/monthly basis and initiate action to reduce cost

5. Effective utilization of all resources like men, machine and material to reduce total operations cost

6. Plan the preventive and predictive maintenance of the equipments (production and maintenance) to increase the uptime of the equipments.

7. Represents in the daily / weekly rejection meeting and take corrective actions related to melting for castings defects

8. Review the department objectives on daily/weekly/monthly basis for effectiveness and efficiency and initiate corrective action

9. Provide input to the subordinate to meet their internal customer requirements

10.Develop a system/procedure/process to achieve the departmental goals

3. Train and motivate the subordinates to improve their performance



Assistant Manager



1. Monitor and quality control functions of all activities to meet the customer requirements on quality.

2. Monitor and review of all process parameters which are all affect the product quality and initiate corrective action

3. Provide input to all production department to improve the product and process quality

4. Review in process casting quality in terms product quality like of dimensions, casting defect etc and take decision about further continuing the production

5. Problems are to be solved on each product and criticality basis by applying the product knowledge

6. Involving/Integrating all departments to solve the complex problems through daily/weekly/monthly meeting to improve casting quality

7. In case of any emergency follow positive recall procedure and disposition of the produced parts with respect to material.

8. Monitor and review of material testing of the casting (Destructive and Non-Destructive) as per system/customer requirements and clear the casting for further process and initiate corrective action in case deviation from the STD/Specification.

9. Investigation of customer complaints related material problem

10. Develop a system/procedure/process to achieve the departmental goals

11. Train the subordinates to identify the root cause for the rejection/material quality

12. Monitor and review the incidents to achieve zero accidents

13. Monitor 1S & 2S activities to keep the shop floor clean

14. Coordinates with other department to improve overall product quality

15. Review the process/product non-conformity and initiate actions for disposition and prevention

16. Carrying out preventive maintenance and calibration of all the equipments in the process control

17. To identify training needs of personnel working in process control, arranging and providing on the job training and evaluating the effectiveness of training.

18. Conducting the preliminary process capability study for physical and metallurgical characteristics.

19. Establish the process parameters, product quality and process capability for new product

20. To implement suitable procedures to meet the Quality, Environment, Safety and Energy management systems
