- Prepare the shop drawings for the production order based on the drawing provided by customer and site measurements taken.
- Take site measurements
- On receiving the job card, verify/cross check the BOQ/specification/drawings provided by the client. Any discrepancies to be notified
- Ensure that there is no discrepancy between the quantities estimated and MPLs issued and inform supervisor
- Specialised items to be identified and forwarded to the to the procurement with specifications and drawings
- Prepare MIV and forward it to stores on approval from the Production Manager
- Forward the shop drawings to the customer for their approval whilst recording the transmittals
- Ensure drawings produced are cost efficient
- Reading and Interpreting shop drawings
- Create two and three dimensional drawings as required
- Create drawings according to the requirements of the client.
- Safekeeping of drawings and other customer documents
