Position: Procurement / Purchase Manager 


Location: Qatar


Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, direct and controls activities related to the procurement function by implementing procurement strategy and policy and forecast procurement needs.
• Evaluate all purchase acquisitions and purchase orders on regular basis.
• Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials in a timely and cost effective way.
• Maintains purchasing documents, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain purchase order data and communicate with suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers the shipment & arrival dates.
• Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability, and prepares market analysis reports.
• Develops a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier

Requirements
Must have minimum of 10 years of experience in the purchase division of a Hotel / Catering Company.
• Graduate with post graduation is Purchase / Logistics with minimum 2/3 yrs experience in Qatar Market 
• Must possess good leadership skills and be self-motivated.
• Preferred nationality would be Indian.
