- Develop SPM / IGCSE e-learning subject materials by performing content research, preparation of materials and final production of storyboards for e-learning contents
Work with different types of input materials to create simplified and self-learning online contents
Work with other team members, such as Programmers, Graphic Designers, Writers, and Instructional Designers in order to produce an effective learning solution in context with the implementation of self-learning methodologies.
Work with Advisors to identify scope of contents and areas for improvement
Project manage and perform quality control and product testing
Develop model exam questions, including solutions, and explanations
Create interactive exercises and activities to support learning outcomes
Respond to queries from students and moderate Learning Management System (LMS) discussions on the particular subject
- Candidate must possess a minimum of a Masters Degree specializing in their CORE subject matter. Candidates without higher degrees will be considered if they can demonstrate substantial experience in teaching their core subject at IGCSE/O/SPM level in a secondary / high school environment.
More than seven (7) years of relevant experience in teaching at IGCSE level in a secondary / high school environment.
Must have an excellent command in English language, preferably a native speaker or fully bilingual. If English is not the first language then candidates should hold a professional level English qualification equivalent to at least IELTS 8.0 or above as an absolute minimum.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to convert information and needs into practical learning deliverables.
Have the ability to write concise, creative and simplified learning solutions.
At least a good working knowledge of applications such as PowerPoint, as Subject Matter Experts are required to produce storyboards in the form of Powerpoint slides which can be further developed into online e-learning materials. Training will be provided if required.
Mature personality, team player, pro-active and result oriented. Candidates outside of Malaysia are expected to have had previous experience of working and living abroad from their own country.
