• Hands-on involvement in the development of any or all aspects of Application System Design, Database Design, Code development, Unit and Integration testing, and overall Implementation
• Identify and implement solutions for software defects, enhancements, change requests and other modifications as required
• Evaluate hardware and software tools regarding their ability to support specified requirements and identifying any potential or actual bottlenecks
• Provide software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies
• Understand impact of integrating third party solutions to overall systems architecture
• Propose ideas for incorporating new technologies into Pacific Control System's product suite to generate innovative business opportunities
• Responsible for supporting Research & Development initiatives
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments
• Support design of very large applications, ability to work in a team environment, resolve complex development issues and meet deadlines
• Ability to identify technical issues, risks, and mitigation
• Ability to work with and/or lead an integrated team to achieve common goals
Other Responsibilities
• Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with no or less assistance from the supervisor
• Work with architects in new or existing detailed designs, interface specifications, data modeling, etc to keep our systems current with changing technologies
• Initiative to innovate new emerging technologies and adapting as per the requirement in the project
• Should lead small team or work as individual contributor as needed
• Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers
• Quickly understand and start working with IP based devices, real-time communication, TCP/IP, GPRS, 3G and APN networks
• Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming
• Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate; assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments
• Research and recommend software tools to management
• Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports
• Strictly adhere to Product Development life cycle and Standard processes
• Strict adherence in maintaining coding standards, code commenting and documenting of software.
• Produce project plans and schedule for assignments and ensure timely completion of development activity
• Document (Software Product specifications/Product Description/Customer Manual /Implementation manual/Product Architecture/HLD/LLD/Interface documents, etc.) as per instruction and maintenance and up-gradation of the documents.
• Responsible for reading, understanding, and utilizing technical references
