Project Manager - Renewables


The Role:

We are currently delivering significant renewable energy projects including solar PV and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects and project teams to ensure delivery meets the highest standards and client expectations.
  • Daily Management: Supervise and manage day-to-day work activities to ensure project progress aligns with timelines and requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies in all aspects of work.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with staff, clients, and subcontractors daily to foster strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Capability Development: Develop internal capabilities and encourage professional growth within the team.
  • Safety Management: Maintain a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and the public across all sites.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee projects to ensure they are completed profitably, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Leadership: Provide on-site leadership and encourage the growth and development of project teams.

We are looking for someone with:
You will have a background and experience in renewable energy projects including solar PV and can lead a team/group of teams to deliver the required outcomes with a solutions approach in a dynamic environment. You will be motivated, productive and share the same respect we do for creating an enjoyable and safe working environment.


You build lasting relationships with key stakeholders and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least 15 years' industry experience in a management role.
  • At least 10 years experience in the design and construction of solar PV and BESS projects including overseeing design works, drawings, procurement and managing site installation works.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree qualified
  • Post graduate experience working for a contractor
  • Worked in the Pacific Islands and developing countries
  • Self motivated and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Competency in computer packages (Microsoft suite mandatory)
  • Proven experience building strong, reliable and high performing teams around you.
  • The ability to interpret and deliver to plans.
  • Good knowledge of construction methodology and best practice.
  • Able to assess information, evaluate solutions and devise appropriate course of action with minimal supervision.
  • An ability to relate to a wide range of people and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Drive to motivate your team to achieve productivity, goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of forward planning around personnel/plant. Having this strategy well communicated to relevant individuals within the business to facilitate success.

Project Manager - Water, Headworks & Pipeworks



The Role:

We are currently working on a water treatment plant with river headworks and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our team.

Claims Engineer


The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Engineer / Contract Administrator Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing contractual obligations, handling claims, and ensuring compliance with all contract terms. This position will be responsible for identifying potential claims, managing disputes, and ensuring the smooth administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyse, and administer contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Identify potential claims and variations, assessing risks and impacts on projects.
  • Prepare and submit claims for time extensions, additional costs, and other project variations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and legal teams to resolve disputes and claims.
  • Track and document all contractual changes, variations, and claim-related communications.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide advice and support on contractual issues during project execution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all contracts and claims.

We are looking for someone with:


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in contract administration and claims management within engineering or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC and other relevant contract frameworks.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in EPC projects or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with international contract laws and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in managing claims, variations, and contract disputes.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office
