Technician Job Vacancy in Kuwaitis Distinguished Systems, Kuwait

We have immediate Openings Valve technician for Kuwait Location

Min years of experience: 10 Years

Min Educational qualification: Diploma in mechanical or instrumentation

Any special certification required: Technical trade certificate is required.

Role Description:

-Ability to perform Inspection, testing repair and calibration of control valves, regulators, and safety valves.

-Knowledge about control valve calibration, trouble shooting, calibration of smart/electro pneumatic positioners, testing standards.

-Valve link/Valve software knowledge

-Knowledgeable to use valve test benches.

-Ability to understand valve signature and diagnostic graphs.

-Knowledge on lapping methods and lapping machines.

-Knowledge to use HART/ Field Bus communicator/TREX Communicator and loop calibrator.

-Evaluates valve repairs needed and select proper repair techniques to be used.

-Ability to understand and follow manufacturers recommended procedures, valves testing standards, and ASME code (control valve& safety valves)

-Types of control valves/ actuators and its functions.

-Familiar with different type of regulators and calibration procedures.

-Know the type of safety valves and its operating principles.

-Familiar with valve data sheet and leakage classifications.

-Familiar with EH&S procedures.

-Ability to Disassemble and reassemble different types of actuators.

-Familiar with smart control valve positioners and calibration skills

-Extensive knowledge in using precision measuring and torquing devices.

-Ability and willingness to work in confined areas.

-Ability to climb ladders and work at high elevations.

-Availability for callout during off hours.

-Willing to work in shifts in shop as well as in field work.

Skills and experience

-Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation/ Technical trade certificate is required.

-Ten years of experience in the testing/repair and calibrating control valves and all other types of valves. Preferable for Oil and Gas / petrochemical experience.

-Required certified training certificates from manufactures for their products.

-Age limit not more than 45 years with good physical fitness.

-Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

-Demonstrated positive safety attitude and willingness to work within the scope of team concept.
