A leading Agricultural company operating in the processing of commodities such as sugar are currently looking for a Factory Manager to be in charge of the running of their newly constructed West Africa site.
The Factory Manager will report directly into the General Manager and oversee all areas of the processing and production facility including Quality, Health and Safety and Engineering.
This is an urgent require and the Factory Manager must be available to start in a new position by Mid-August 2015.
The key responsibilities of the Factory Manager will include:
• Manage all day to day activities of the factory ensuring successful running of all departments.
• Liaise with the General Manager as well as the agricultural department to keep all parties informed of the factory’s operations.
• Produce regular reports to top level management keeping them to a high standard of quality.
• Control all budgetary aspects of the site including; Engineering, Production and Capital expenditure.
• Oversee various aspects of the factory to help keep it as cost effective as possible.
The successful Factory Manager must have:
• A degree level education is a must, a Master’s / MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years in a production management role.
• Sugar processing experience is a must.
• West Africa experience is preferred but not essential.
• Proven capability of managing newly built facilities is advantageous.
