A leading agricultural company is actively looking for multiple Assistant Production Managers to be involved into the performance of a newly constructed sugar processing facility in West Africa.
We have a number of openings for the Assistant Production Manager, this is also an urgent requirement to the successful people must be ready to start a new position in Mid-August 2015.
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Production Managers will include:
• Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure that any production issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Supervision of the production team including the, providing training and motivating the workforce where needed.
• Help create an effective budget for the production department.
• Manage the department in accordance with all appropriate food safety standards.
The successful Production Manager will have the following background:
• A degree in an Engineering, Food Production or Agricultural discipline is preferred.
• At least 5 years in a Production role
• Knowledge of Sugar Processing is a must.
• Proven experience of leading a team is essential.
