Our Client, a well reputed Bank in UAE is looking to the fill the position of Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking in Abu Dhabi / Dubai

Job purpose
To manage and enhance the existing commercial portfolio and solicit acceptable new relationships in order to meet the pre-set financial / non-financial objectives.

Key result areas
• Supervise the team of RO’s and CA’s and distribute the preset targets to the Relationship Officers.
• Plan the marketing strategy to road-map the business focus.
• Manage the existing loan portfolio to ensure establishment of appropriate account plans, recommend credit facilities in line with Bank’s credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risks to an acceptable levels.
• Customer / segment identification and subsequent loan negotiations with new and existing relationships under the specific target market to broad base the portfolio and pursue growth opportunities.
• Gather market information and develop working relationships with different businesses to position the company as one of the best financial institutions in UAE.
• Train, develop, motivate and supervise ARMs/Support staff in line with the company’s needs to meet the objective of being 1st choice for both employees and customers.
• Develop and maintain strong working relations with all existing clients at key levels to optimize the utilization of approved facilities.
• Implement and maintain complete control aspects i.e. financial analysis of statements of accounts, documentation, periodical client visits / call reports, stocks inspections and formal credit checks / informal market feedback to manage the unit’s portfolio effectively.
• Undergo an annual credit review process of existing portfolio to achieve a satisfactory rating for the unit vis-à-vis asset portfolio quality and credit management process.
• Develop new commercial products as per the market requirements to enhance market position vs competition.
