Reporting to the Manager of Projects, the Project Planner will be the central resource support for multiple project teams and the engineering team.

Our projects are typically in the range of US$2 to 20 million, with up to 10 projects in various stages of completion at any one time.

Responsibilities will include detailed planning, reporting, task allocation and expediting. 

You will:
- Develop plans for new projects and update those plans during the course of project execution. Production of progress reports for both internal and customer use.
- Co-ordinate the allocation of tasks with the Engineering Manager and gather progress data on the status of engineering deliverables.
- A key focus will be to identify late tasks or deliverables or overloaded resources ensuring early stage reporting to Senior Management so action can be taken.

Core skills include:
- Thorough understanding of Critical Path Analysis using MS Project
- Ability to build and update project schedules up to Level 3 with Resource Loading
- Ability to post process planning data in Excel to produce S curves
- Produce customised reports, resource loadings, task lists, look-aheads


You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with both management and suppliers. Importantly your ability to work independently and to reporting deadlines and produce overview plans across multiple projects to look at resource and production conflicts is paramount.
