The Quality Assurance and HSE Manager is responsible for the overall management accredited Quality Assurance and HSE processes within the Company.

You will:
- Ensure that all company personnel adhere to the company's commitments under awarded Quality and HSE Certifications.
- Ensure that company quality and HSE certifications are maintained.
- Facilitate continuous improvement of the QHSE processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Continuously improve the QHSE processes and ensure that improvements are properly documented and communicated within the company.
-Ensure that vendors are suitably qualified in terms of their QHSE.
- Organise internal and external audits and ensure points arising from them are handled correctly.
- Liaise between certifying bodies and the company. 
- Maintain the company NCR/Incident records and ensure remedial and preventive actions are correct, documented and closed out.
- Assist in the preparation of Project Specific Quality Plans (QPs) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Co-ordinate third party inspections across multiple projects in accordance with approved Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
- Sub-vendor inspection (QC) visits when directed by Projects.


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Thorough understanding of the company's products and business.
- In depth knowledge of quality assurance standards such as ISO 9001.
- Familiarity with the requirements of HSE standards such as ISO 14001/18001.
- Ability to engage in detailed quality planning for complex oil and gas equipment projects.
- Ability to coordinate 3rd party inspection agencies.
- Ability to support the rest of the management team to drive change and continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years experience in an Engineering company, including establishment, operation and maintenance of - Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9000 with the capability of developing quality system, quality plans, work procedures and inspection & test plans.
- HSE implementation and reporting in accordance with ISO 14001/18001.
- Working to codes and standards such as ANSI, ASME, ASTM and API codes used in Oil and Gas industries.
- Sound practical technical knowledge in materials, welding, coating/painting, NDE and inspection activities.
