JOB SUMMARY
The Quality, Health &Safety Environment (QHSE) Manager participates in the implementation and maintenance of health &safety programs and associated quality policies and regulations.
Responsibilities -
• Advise on the latest international quality, health and safety construction regulations and procedures.
• Oversee the implementation of organizational construction safety and health policies & procedures.
• Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
• Manage safety and health programs for different construction projects and sites.
• Plan and supervise staff trainings on safety and health assurance activities and considerations.
• Evaluate construction safety and health assurance best practices to learn its standards and principles.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional Quality as well as health and safety regulations.
• Ensure necessary quality records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
• Ensure that all projects are compliant with the Quality Policy and Procedures of the Company.
• Participate in Safety and Health inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures.
• Supervise Quality Assurance and Document Control staff.
Education & Experience-
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 10 years related experience.
• Gulf experience is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strategic, methodical, logical and detail oriented.
• Have good supervisory and management capabilities.
• Lead Quality Auditor as well as OSHA certification.
