Duties and responsibilities:
• Attend to routine maintenance and break-downs of milking parlours
• Ensure quality milk production and delivery to processing plant.
• Assist Livestock Manager with parlour upkeep for hygiene
• Schedule routine parlour maintenance
• Make requisition for filters, CIP chemicals, liners and all other accessories.
• Ensure all routines of milking parlour are followed.
• Ensure that all parlour systems operate correctly and arrange for any necessary repairs
• Continuously increase knowledge of milking technology new technologies.
• Additional duties as assigned by Livestock Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications: Industrial Training Institute Certificate
Experience: Minimum two years in any of milking parlours.
