Position: General Manager - Sales


Job Summary: The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our 2-wheeler and 3-wheeler distribution business in the country This includes strategic planning, operations management, sales, marketing, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee development.
  • Recruit a Large Local team to support the operation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Basic Knowledge of Portuguese Language is a must.
  • Proven experience in managing a distribution business
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
