The main role of this job is to to manage range, sales, profitability, suppliers relation and coordinate with operation & marketing department.
1.Ensure all Category Buyers deliver their KPI’S
2.Setting medium and long term Strategy for respective departments in accordance with Management
3.Scanning the market for products
4.Strategic Sourcing of suppliers
5.Assortment planning along with respective Category Buyer
6.Negotiating trading agreements with suppliers
7.Negotiating costs of products and recommend sell prices where necessary
8.Review new products suggested by Category Buyer
9.Managing business development funds and follow up of promotions budgets of the suppliers.
10.Managing Hot item and Checkout List
11.Managing Monthly Promotional Catalogue from Selection of products to ensuring its available in store before promotion commence and measuring it success
Job Requirements
1. University degrees preferably in business, economics etc.
2. PG Diplomas or MBA in any business field.
3. Diplomas in negotiation skills
4. Category Management Certification.
5. Minimum of 10 years working experience in the same field.
6. Having Different formats and/or sales
