1. Procurement Engineer- Civil :
4-5 Years of experience in procurement of civil materials and services for building projects (High rise, hotels, airports, villas, hospitals).
Degree in civil.
Only Indian candidates for this role.
Age should not be more than 33 Years.
2. Procurement Engineer- MEP :
Everything else is same except we need degree in Electrical or Mechanical
Only Arabic candidates are required.
Procure goods and services from qualified vendors/subcontractor at competitive prices and terms consistent with the project requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with principals of subcontracting firms and material suppliers
Pre-qualify subcontractors and material suppliers
Maintain current knowledge of market conditions
Develop and train assistant purchasing agents in the techniques of purchasing
Work closely with the Estimating Department in obtaining subcontractor resources in preparing estimates and lump sum proposals
Prepare, review, and issue subcontracts and purchase orders that assure timely contract awards, approvals and execution of subcontract agreements
Assist operations when requested to help with subcontractor/vendor commitments
Follow-up on subcontractor performance after award of contract and keep management informed of potential problems
