Education Qualification / Years of Experience:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Min 6years of installation & repair experience into power generation & distributuion within petrochemical industry with instrumentation knowledge ,working experience in the maintenance of upstream Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
Senior authorization electrical person test-S.A.E,P., Knowledge of CMMS
Summary:
Familiar with Offshore permit to work system.
Carries out repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of various types of Electrical Equipment such as Main Power HV Generators, LV Emergency Generators, HV switchboards (VCB, ACB, Vacuum contactor cubicles), LV switchboards (ACB), HV/LV motors upto 500Kw and associated control gears and etc. installed on Production stations.
Attend & resolve more complex fault finding, repairs & maintenance on high voltage electrical equipment upto 33 KV & ASSOCIATED SWITCHGEAR ON HALUL, DIRECTS THE WORK OF JUNIOR LEVEL TECHNICIANS
Familiar with Offshore permit to work system.

Carries out repair, troubleshooting and maintenance
Capable of carrying out necessary isolations/ de-isolations as needed including HV and LV Switchgears
Prepares the equipment and work site to carry out routine and breakdown maintenance e.g. arrange proper tools for the work and completes the work in a safe manner.
Tests equipments such as multimeters,clamp on meters ,chart recorders, oscilloscopes,HV & LV meggars,
Attend all break down & repair of HV,LV motors, transformers, electrical cranes, hoists,distillation & chlorine units,appliences, kitchen & laundary equipments.
WORK CYCLE- 7/7 ; FAMILY STATUS POSITION, 3 years of renewable contract.
