This position you will co-ordinate all project activities, from engineering stage up to offshore completion works and will ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental compliance . You will have excellent written and verbal communication and successfully worked in a international team environment.
Your main duties will be:
- Radio links: a fully meshed radio network (8 links) is connecting Halul, DP1, DP2, DP3 and DP4.
- VHF Radio PMR (Private Mobile Radio): a VHF private Talkie Walkie network is up and running, especially for operations and safety needs in Halul, DP1, DP2, DP3, DP4 and WP1. In Halul, DP1, DP2, DP3, DP4, one base station is dedicated to “Operations” communications and another one is dedicated to “Safety” communications. In addition, a cross band aviation system is installed in DP1, DP2, DP3, DP4 in order to communicate with the helicopters. VHF aero handsets are also available. Fixed stations are also installed in the Halul.
- VHF Marine: on each platform (DP1/2/3/4), there are 2 VHF marine fixed stations: one in the personal room and one in the lifeboat. In addition, fixed marine stations are installed in the NMB and NOB.
Ideally you have a minimum of a Diploma in Engineering with at least 5 years experience in Telecom Installation & Maintenance in Oil & Gas Industry. You preferably will have Middle-East experience within Qatar.
You will be fluent in English and Arabic would be advantageous.
