• Assists on the planning, development and implementation of the HR strategy with a specific accountability for training and development initiatives
• Provides HR support services to the business and Colleagues and serve as a point of contact for all training activities and tasks
• Conducts training needs analysis to understand the need for different behavioural and technical training requirements and accordingly develops a list of trainings required by GAG and creates the annual training calendar for the organisation
• Studies previous training records and performance management development plans, and lists identified training needs, conducts gap analysis to suggest training courses and programs
• Ensures smooth execution of the Induction and Orientation training for the new hires 
• Manages documentation, Colleague records related to training & development through GAG’s HRIS system by following established processes and procedures
• Develops and manages training processes and works on enhancing the process on a regular basis to create efficiency
• Coordinates with external training vendors to evaluate technical and content expertise through pre- training audit, compare training fees and delivery mechanisms thereby obtaining training courses, schedules, in order to recommend them to the various department heads for their requested trainings in cooperation with Procurement Department
• Arranges to deliver training sessions through external vendors to participants and guides them on course materials, hand-outs and other training related requirements 
• Delivers requested trainings and when applicable with appropriate training material using innovative techniques and best practices
• Measures training effectiveness of programs by trainee evaluation and post training audit and provides training feedback to the respective trainee and their reporting manager 
• Adheres to budgets in conjunction with department’s training budgets, tracks expenses and highlights concerns and issues on a regular basis by presenting periodic report to AVP – HR in cooperation with Finance Department
• Creates and coordinates the E-training modules and supervises the implementation process for URC
• Updates and maintains all job descriptions according to the latest organization chart and requested amendments by managers.
• Responsible for the Talent Management module in the HR System including Goal Settings and Performance Evaluation modules
