Hiring for an Oil and gas EPCM / PMC company, provides engineering & construction services to oil & gas, chemical, Petrochemical, Green Hydrogen projects.
Position: Civil / Structural Construction Superintendent
Role & responsibilities :
A construction superintendent manages construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. Their responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling: Developing a schedule and plan for the project, and creating and updating monthly schedules
- Managing resources: Ensuring that the construction team has the resources they need, including materials, equipment, and labor
- Estimating costs: Creating cost estimates for labor, supplies, and other project costs
- Collaborating with others: Working with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project meets specifications and regulations
- Inspecting work: Regularly inspecting work for quality and timeliness, and addressing any safety violations
- Preparing reports: Preparing progress reports and providing them to owners and architects
- Training and mentoring: Training and mentoring assistant superintendents and project engineers
- Supporting laborers: Supporting the laborers and subcontractors who do the physical work of building
Preferred candidate profile : Candidates should have 20+ years of exp in construction engineering in oil & gas projects. Should have ability to manage site independently.
