QC Inspector for Morocco

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Inspector with a strong background in civil and steel structural inspection within the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with the relevant project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. The QC Inspector will play a critical role in maintaining quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.


Position: QC Inspector (Civil & Structural Steel )


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Quality Control Inspections:
    • Conduct inspections of civil and steel structural components at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
    • Perform regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction quality and adherence to engineering plans.
    • Identify and document non-conformities or deviations from specifications and initiate corrective actions.
  2. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports, test results, and quality control documentation.
    • Collaborate with project management and construction teams to provide insights and recommendations on quality improvement.
    • Assist in the preparation of Quality Control Plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
  3. Standards and Regulations Compliance:
    • Ensure that all construction activities comply with international codes, standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO), and local regulations.
    • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to civil and steel structural work in the oil and gas sector.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with engineers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are understood and met.
    • Facilitate and participate in quality-related meetings and reviews with stakeholders.
  5. Training and Mentorship:
    • Provide training and mentorship to junior inspection staff and contractors on quality assurance practices and procedures.
    • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the project team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in quality control inspection, specifically in civil and steel structures within the oil and gas industry.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Welding Inspector, NDT certifications) are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality control processes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
